This is what my sweet mother-in-law sent me (with the Target gift card!) and my lil' sister, Julie, sent the other awesome card. My MIL purchased the card and I loved her choice...it is so dang cute. And my sister's card to me...well, she's amazing. Julie is so funny because she tells me that she's intimidated by my cards, but she has nothing to worry about, does she? Thank you to both of you! Also, my darling husband gave me a fabulous card, but I'm going to just keep that one to myself. I hope everyone had a wonderful M-day!

Teacher Appreciation Week
This week, since I've been on my deathbed (at least that's how I've felt with a stomach virus) and have been lounging out for three days straight, I'm just digging up past projects to add to the blog for now. This week is Teacher Appreciation Week at my son's school and we have done fun surprises for the teacher. I am the homeroom parent for his third grade class and for her birthday in October, I organized a group gift to her from the class, asking for gift card donations to restaurants and stores. I put them all inside this little bunch of cards that I made for her and she loved it. She's an incredible teacher so it was well worth it. I've used the same papers as the previous post from the s.e.i. Aunt Gertie's Garden set. Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's Day stationery kits
My friend asked me last year to help her lead a group of young girls (ages 8 to 11) to make a little gift for their moms for Mother's Day. Using the beautiful s.e.i. Aunt Gertie's Garden designer paper sets, I came up with these stationary kits, each one was unique and fun. This is what they started off with. Here is the end result. I collected a variety of mom/mother sentiments that they could choose from.
