Bonjour, Le Tour

With Valentine's Day approaching soon, it's practically impossible to NOT think of all things French as romantic and fitting for the season. For this simple Valentine greeting, I used my never-before-inked En Francais background stamp and paired it with an Eiffel Tower image, which are a dime a dozen, and can be found on most stamp store shelves. C'est magnifique!

  • Paper: Regal Rose, Whisper White, Basic Black, Wild Wasabi
  • Ink: Stazon Jet Black
  • Accessories: Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon from Stampin' Up! and Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Stamps: En Francais by SU, Stampabilities Bonjour

you mean everything to me

Here's more of the Always stamp set with two other sentiments:

you mean everything to me.
{EVERYTHING}

I also used Stampin' Up! pink taffeta ribbon and the Stazon Timber Brown ink. I like this version the best.

always on my mind--forever in my heart

This is such a fun new set ((Always--see the previous post) and I know I'm going to use it often. Here I've added some more depth to my first design, using the following tools or accessories:
  • Crop-o-dile (to punch holes evenly)
  • Hodgepode Hardware
  • Twill Tape
  • Sponge (for edges of heart and vanilla cardstock)
  • Slit punch to create scallop edge on Creamy Caramel cardstock
  • Distressing tool

always on my mind

Keeping it simple here, I've used my Always stamp set for the first time.

  • Ink: Pretty in Pink, Creamy Caramel by Stampin' Up!

  • Embellishments: Silver brads and pink ribbon by Stampin' Up!

Enjoying my Christmas cards

Thank you to everyone who sent me wonderful Christmas cards. My sister, Julie, sent this handmade creation and I wanted to post it. I love her handy work and appreciate receiving cards like this made with TLC, AND each and every single card that was manufactured and addressed to me and the family individually. It is a remarkable tradition, the giving and receiving of Christmas cards, to be remembered at least once a year by either brand new or lifelong friends and family. Happy new year!
