Americana bookmarks

These "stampy" Americana bookmarks were fun and relatively simple to mass produce. I made 70 of them to pass out after my lesson at church (in Relief Society) today as a reminder of the significance of the hymns and how they can uplift our spirits. Our closing hymn, with Independence Day approaching, was Battle Hymn of the Republic, which is why I created something with a patriotic theme. I'll post the details later tonight after I have my Sunday afternoon nap. The women in our RS seemed to have appreciated these. I always like to make a little handout when it's my turn to teach, which is fortunately only about once a quarter.

Cute Mom's Day cards I got!

This is what my sweet mother-in-law sent me (with the Target gift card!) and my lil' sister, Julie, sent the other awesome card. My MIL purchased the card and I loved her choice...it is so dang cute. And my sister's card to me...well, she's amazing. Julie is so funny because she tells me that she's intimidated by my cards, but she has nothing to worry about, does she? Thank you to both of you! Also, my darling husband gave me a fabulous card, but I'm going to just keep that one to myself. I hope everyone had a wonderful M-day!
