Mother's Day stationery kits

My friend asked me last year to help her lead a group of young girls (ages 8 to 11) to make a little gift for their moms for Mother's Day. Using the beautiful s.e.i. Aunt Gertie's Garden designer paper sets, I came up with these stationary kits, each one was unique and fun. This is what they started off with. Here is the end result. I collected a variety of mom/mother sentiments that they could choose from.
Inside the jacket, they had a variety of papers and some envelopes for their moms. It was a great project and kind of makes me want to make something else in this layout. All I need is some time!

The stationery kits fit perfectly inside the velum square envelopes by Stampin' Up!
