My first Sketch Challenge

Today I've completed a sketch challenge, my first one on SCS. It was my third challenge of the week and I'm having fun with it. It's like a little homework assignment to improve in your card making art. I like that I've used papers and stamps that I've been wanting to, but haven't. This card was using more of my Dutch Girl paper kit, and a stamp from Delight in Life and the cherish stamp is from a little boxed set by Nostalgiques, the Attic Collection. I always keep any random buttons that I come across or that come as extras with clothes, and I nabbed this red one from my surplus stash. I'm off to lunch with Carol now.

Awesome! Girl, have you been hiding indoors the last few days just making cards or what? I can't believe how many you've done :)

My plan is to make one card per day, then post it on my blog. It's so invigorating to create just one cute card, instead of worrying about cutting out enough pieces to create 75 cards of one kind, for example. It's nice to use the things that I've had good intentions to for a long while too.

As I post a card a day, it feels nice to get at least one comment as a follow up...so thank you! I know that SOMEONE is looking at my efforts then. Stay tuned....

Beautiful,
glad I read in your other blog that you started this one up!
Good for you! (and good for those of us who like to be inspired by you!)
