Ebony Chandelier

As I was in the checkout line at Michael's yesterday, picking up my framed art order--we had a family photo taken--I spotted these bargain notecards in a bin, ten per pack. I assumed they were just a dollar, but when I got home, realized that they were two packs for a dollar. I'm going back today to get more, just for the envelopes alone! These cards were a nickel apiece, basically. That's practically free. I added the HB sentiment and the black ribbon, which I snipped from my daughter's prom dress, those unpleasant hanger straps that always manage to make their way on the outside of the dress. This card is so minimalistic, but sometimes, that's all we have time for, isn't it?

Hi Kelly!

I love the card. I actually wrote a pretty long comment when you posted it, but I guess it didn't post. Anyway, What I wanted to tell you was that I think it's amazing what you did with the cheap-o card. You transformed it into elegance. It's amazing what a little glue, ribbon, and love can do!

I wanted to email you personally, but I couldn't find an address. I wanted to thank you for being one of my 4 loyal readers! LOL!!! If you would like, I want to send you a little thank you gift. You can email me your address and I'll send you something small.

Hope your weekend is a great one!
